A little more about the main characters this time.

Margo is a daughter of the magician Jacob Bruce, a close friend of Peter the Great. Margo is a capricious and impetuous young lady. But underneath she is a very kind person as all bitchy characters. Her mother died under mysterious circumstances and left baby Margo with father-magician. Margo has no supernatural abilities.

The age of characters was not clearly defined at the beginning of the work. So they varied from kids...

...to teens.

Margo's character came out quickly and easily. I decided to make her very smart too at that point. These are the very first sketches.

A little bit of cuteness.

Pete is a kid from the street, a navigation school student. He's very intelligent and kind-hearted, a real man by all accounts. Don't let his unsophisticated face confuse you! He has magic powers and he can do PUFF PUFFs! And naturally, Pete is in love with Margo.

At the beginning Pete was older just as Margo did.

But then everything turned out as it turned out.

And Kubik–the one at the top of the bill. No one actually knows why his name is Kubik. It's a great mystery and it will be revealed one day. Creation of Kubik was quite hard, we had no idea what could he look like. He just had to be a little annoying thing. We even didn't know if he has eyes or mouth.

At the beginning Kubik looked like this

We had to change Kubik's design because someone found it looking very close to another cartoon character. Well, as a walking can he turned out ok.
